Hello Mount Mahogany families! My name is Maria Martinez. I was born and raised on the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. I am an ESL Coach, passionate teacher, mom, wife, and a new grandmother. I enthusiastically advocate for multilingual learners and their families to showcase their talents, knowledge, and capacities. I have an MBA with eight years of experience in the business administration industry. I am ESL and Instructional Coaching endorsed with 14 years of experience teaching dance, drama, conversational, AP, DLI Spanish, and ELD (English Language Development) levels 1 and 2. The 2023-24 school year will be my third one serving at Mount Mahogany, and it is an honor for me to be a RAM. I love Mount Mahogany, my colleagues, our students, our families, and our school community. When not serving at our school, I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, dancing, spending time with my husband and son, and face timing with my cute grandson.

Hello Rams! This will be my 8th year teaching at Mount Mahogany. I have spent the past three years teaching 4th grade and four years before that teaching 1st grade. I graduated from UVU with a masters in STEM education. I love teaching reading and science. Outside of school I have three dogs that I enjoy training, and taking on walks and hikes. I enjoy being outside and I like playing pickleball and going paddleboarding. I also enjoy painting using acrylic paints. Hello! My name is Claire Beck! I grew up in Pleasant Grove and currently live there with my husband Josh. I studied Elementary Education at Utah Valley University. I received my master's degree in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. I am going into my fourth year of teaching 1st grade. I have a passion for ballet and musical theater and have been in many productions at the Hale Center Theater. I love spending time with my family and traveling with my husband. I want each of my students to know that the moment they walk through my classroom door they will feel important and know they have a teacher who believes in them. “I believe everybody can succeed!” A quote that I live by is “Be Kind. Hello! My name is Madi Greenberg. I grew up in Highland and am currently living in Cedar Hills with my husband Zach. I love to spend time outdoors playing sports, hiking, camping, and paddle boarding. I love to read books and enjoy spending time with my family. I graduated with a bachelors in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University and have always wanted to be a teacher. First grade is my favorite grade to teach and I am excited to be here at Mount Mahogany!
Hi! My name is Sydney Isley! I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2022. I spent my first year teaching in a kindergarten classroom with student teaching experience in a 2nd grade classroom! I am so excited to be apart of the Mount Mahogany team! I am originally from Indiana and love music and singing, traveling, and spending time with my dog! I have always had a passion for teaching and working with children and am so excited to work with your students and make memories!
Hi! I am Mrs. Jones. I have taught 3rd grade for 8 years and am excited to teach 4th grade this year at Mount Mahogany! I have been married for 6 years. My husband and I are kept very busy by our two girls and enormous dog.
Hi Rams! My name is KC Kiser and this will be my 4th year of teaching 2nd grade at Mount Mahogany Elementary. I graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Currently, I am working towards a Master of Arts in Reading through Grand Canyon University! I have been married for 5 years and we have two boxers named Roxi & Grizz. In my free time, I love to read, go to the movies, workout, visit family, take my dogs to the dog park, and eat out at restaurants! I love teaching 2nd grade! I have fun things planned for the school year and look forward to working with incredible students and parents. It will be a fantastic year!

Hello! My name is Miss Ogden and I am excited to join the fourth grade team at Mount Mahogany. I was born and raised in Northern California, received my Bachelors from Brigham Young University-Idaho and just recently received my Masters from Arizona State University. I've been teaching in Arizona for the past 8 years and just moved to Utah. I am the youngest of five and love being an aunt to my 12 nieces and nephews. I have a miniature goldendoodle named Remi and we love to go hiking and running together! When I'm not outside on an adventure with my dog, you can usually find me traveling or at home reading a new book. If you want a good book suggestion or want to share a suggestion, come see me!
Hi! I am excited to be here at Mt. Mahogany! I am on my 19th year of teaching. I previously taught 4th Grade, Music Specialty to K-6, and for the last 16 years I taught PE specialty to K-6. PE has been my favorite but I decided to go back to school and get my Master's in Technology Education so this year I am still doing what I love and teaching PE at another school but I am also teaching Computer Science Specialty to K-6 at Mt. Mahogany and it's been great so far. I love the curriculum and learning coding, keyboarding, and computer skills so I can teach these techniques and help my students learn. A little bit about me, I have two amazing kids, one in jr high and one in high school. We love to go hiking, and traveling to see family in Washington and California where I grew up so I can put my feet in the ocean that I miss so much now that I live in Utah. We also love Bear Lake and go as many times a year as we can. Some of my hobbies are reading a lot, dancing, piano, drawing, and watching Stranger Things with my kids. It's going to be a great school year!
I am so happy to be continuing my journey at Mt. Mahogany! I have been in education for 19 years. This is my first year as an instructional coach and I am thrilled to be working with both students and teachers! I grew up mostly in Idaho Falls; I moved to Utah after college. I have 3 kids, 2 grown and a 16 year old at home. My husband teaches 6th grade in Orem. We love talking "shop". This school community feels like home to me and I am thankful to be here!
