Mount Mahogany Elementary is so fortunate to have some amazing assistance programs at our school. We have the weekly ‘Backpack Club’ which provides students with some easy to prepare weekend food. We also have our monthly drop off from the Utah Food Bank, and we also have a School Pantry available. All of these services are FREE to our school community. We encourage you to sign up your students for any of them. Having a large amount of participants helps to ensure that we keep these amazing programs at our school. See more info below! We invite any families that would like to benefit from this service, to pick up a grocery kit. Grocery kits often contain one bag of canned goods, one bag of fresh produce, and one bag of bread/grains. Parents can come pick these up as early as 3:00pm. You can also remind your student to get the bags at the end of the day.

Mount Mahogany is excited to be partnering with the FIVE.12 Foundation in 2026-27. We are happy to have this program returning to our school and look forward to the providing assistance to families in our community.
The Five.12 Foundation is a Utah-based nonprofit organization that fights weekend childhood hunger by providing food-filled bags to elementary school students in need.
The foundation packs bags with 10 or more items (such as oatmeal, fruit cups, and mac and cheese) the return of the FIVE.12 Foundation, to provide weekend food to our students.

Follow Staff Directions: Please follow all visitor and safety procedures.

There are four required sections of an application. If any of the following are missing, we cannot process the application:
1. Names of students that need benefits and any other children in the home
2. Names of ALL adults in the household and all income each one earns.

The PTA Fundraiser will be kicking off on Sept. 4th. Students will be bringing home a fundraiser packet with more information. Students are encouraged to collect donations that directly benefit our school. This fundraiser provides our school with activities for the entire year. Things like Donuts with Grown Ups, Spirit Friday, School Store, Valentines Gala, Red Ribbon Week, and Staff Appreciation. Thank you for your support. We’ll see you at the Foam Run on Sept. 21st!

🦈💧PTA Fundraiser and Rockin’ the Reef Foam Run Carnival
The PTA Fundraiser will be kicking off on Sept. 4th. Students will be bringing home a fundraiser packet with more information. Students are encouraged to collect donations that directly benefit our school. This fundraiser provides our school with activities for the entire year. Things like Donuts with Grown Ups, Spirit Friday, School Store, Valentines Gala, Red Ribbon Week, and Staff Appreciation. Thank you for your support. We’ll see you at the Foam Run on Sept. 21st!

The Timpanogos Board of Education has officially opened a district-wide boundary study as part of planning for the future of our schools.
Over the coming months, board members and district leadership will work with educators, administrators, and community groups to help create the most robust and thriving schools possible across our district.
Please join our Community Focus Groups on June 1st & 2nd, organized by high school clusters, to help provide community insight and feedback during this phase. See dates and times in comments.

Alpine School District is upgrading to Skyward Qmlativ (Q), a more intuitive and modern version of our current student information system (Skyward). Instructions will be provided for parents and students as we approach the end of July. Online registration for new students will be temporarily unavailable during the upgrade from July 17-27.

Happy Last week of school!
In April our school received a generous donation to help pay off our school lunch debt. However, the donation WILL NOT be applied to school unpaid balances until a later date. Parents are encouraged to take care of remaining balances now, in order to avoid collection notices. When the donation does get applied to our student accounts, it will be distributed evenly and likely will NOT cover all balances. Please see the letter below from ASD Nutrition Services. Payments WILL NOT be accepted at school after May 22nd.

🤸VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for FIELD DAY! PTA is looking for parent volunteers to supervise field day games on Friday MAY 15TH. Kindergarten-3rd Grade @ 9:30-11:00 am – 4th-6th Grade @ 1:30-3:00 pm. Chick-Fil-A Sandwich, chips, and drink lunch provided to volunteers. Bring a camp chair and water bottle, and any other items. (sunblock, umbrella, etc.)
Volunteers will supervise a game, explain rules, etc. Students will have free time to rotate between games and enjoy being outside.

Mount Mahogany was the 44th school to receive our school lunch debts paid off! The Utah Lunch Debt Relief Foundation visited our school Monday morning! An anonymous donor gave $6,000 towards our school lunch debt. The Foundation then raised the remaining amount, to make sure we had it all paid off. We are so excited! **Important Preschool Update - Next year’s Pre-K classes will be for students who will be 4 years old on or before September 1st. Classes will be held 5 days a week AM/PM classes. The 3 year old class has been discontinued by the district. All current 3 year old students will need to be retested if they would like to enroll for the 2026-27 school year. Testing will start in May.
School Board will be here April 16th - Everyone is invited to come ask questions, and get to know the new Timpanogos School District Board. April 16th 8:30-9:15 am

👫Boys and Girls Club Summer Program - We are so excited for summer! Registration is now OPEN! You can find the registration links here, as well, as on the school website. The cost for a student to attend the full camp is $160 (Monday-Thursday 8:00am - 1:00pm)
We want to ensure all students can attend. We are asking families to apply for the childcare subsidy. If they apply and are denied, we will then consider them for a scholarship.
