It is with great excitement that we announce the promotion of Maria Martinez to the position of Assistant Principal at Mount Mahogany. Maria has been a vital part of our school as our ESL Coach, and her dedication and passion for education have made her an invaluable member of our community.
Meet Maria Martinez
My name is Maria Martinez, and I come from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I am a Spanish and ESL teacher. As an ELL Specialist, I became part of our Mount Mahogany family to serve as a liaison and support for our multilingual students, their teachers, and their families. It is a privilege to serve our school community. Mount Mahogany is a beautiful family.
When I am not serving our school, I enjoy spending time with my family, dancing, and cooking.

Maria’s familiarity with our community, combined with her exceptional skills in community building and supporting families, make her the perfect fit for this role. We are confident that her leadership will continue to inspire and drive positive changes within our school.
